How to Install the New GS4 Version of S-Voice on Your Samsung Galaxy S3

Posted by Unknown Kamis, 02 Mei 2013 0 komentar
The new Samsung Galaxy S4 now is becoming increasingly available around the world and we're going to begin seeing many more of its software features leak out. While we wait for major software leaks and updates for things like the GS4 camera and the next iteration of Jelly Bean (Android 4.2), some features are available now, such as S-Translator, S-Voice. Good news to Galaxy S3 users, here I will show you how to install the New GS4 Version of S-Voice on Your Samsung Galaxy S3.

Note: This will install over the current S-Voice app and the .apk file works on both my Galaxy S3 and Nexus 4.

Step 1: Enable Outside Applications
Go to Settings -> Security and make sure to check "Unknown Sources"
Step 2: Download and Install S-Voice
Download the S4 version of S-Voice app right here. You can download this directly to your GS3 or transfer it from your computer. From there, install as you would any other app.
If for any reason you want to revert back to the standard S-Voice, simply go to Settings -> Application Manager and slide to "All", then scroll down and select "S-Voice". Now just hit the "Uninstall updates" button and you should be good.
The New S-Voice Features
You may find it's hard to know what's different here. There is a new weather widget (nice!), and a bunch of new tasks.
Unfortunately, the new S-Voice app stills have no "Note to self" functionality.
If you give it a try and find some cool stuff, let us know in the comment below!

Top 5: Samsung galaxy note

Yes, it is the brother of Samsung galaxy note 2. The Samsung Galaxy Note is a hybrid smartphone/tablet that has a 5.3-inch Super AMOLED display, Google's Android OS, dual cameras with LED flash and auto-focus, and 4G LTE wireless networking. It also comes with a pressure sensitive S Pen that promises to transform the way you interact with (and enter text into) your smartphone. If you are the one who don’t want to pay much money on high-end smartphone, this device is your wise choice.

Top 6: Samsung galaxy note 3
Samsung galaxy note 3

Now rumors are flying all around about the highly anticipated release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Sources in Korea report that Samsung is gearing up to outfit its next “phablet” with a flexible OLED display that will essentially equip the device with an “unbreakable” screen. Rumors are also said the device will features a 5.9-inch or 6.3-inch screen and is expected to powers with Samsung’s famous Exynos 5 Octa quad-core processor as well as its Smart Scroll and Smart Pause eye-tracking technology and will also likely run Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie natively, as Google’s upcoming operating system will likely be unveiled at the Google I/O conference in May, with a release date projected for June or July.

The device likely won’t be unveiled until September at the IFA Expo in Germany. Long wait for the super phone and that is why I put it in the last. Anyway, there is no doubt that Samsung galaxy note 3 will be a high-end phone and will make a big success.

Blackberry Z10 VS. Samsung Galaxy S3 Specs Comparison,Which One Will You Own?

Posted by Unknown Rabu, 30 Januari 2013 0 komentar
Struggling Research In Motion Ltd.,now renames itself BlackBerry, finally unveils two new BlackBerry mobile devices on Wednesday, which run on the revamped BlackBerry 10 operating system and serves as a platform for third-party apps in order to compete with the rapidly growing iPhone and Android. So today, we are going to show you how the all-touch Blackberry Z10 compares with Samsung's Galaxy S III, the world’s best-selling phone in Q3.
Display:  BlackBerry Z10 features a 4.2-inch (diagonal) display with a resolution of 1280 by 768 pixels (356 pixels per inch), while the Galaxy S3 owns a 4.8-inches Super AMOLED HD display and the resolution stands at 1,280x720. With the thin all-black body with a soft-to-the-touch back design, Z10 is not a beautiful or elegant phone, but it's well-made and comfortable to hold.

Processor, RAM:  BlackBerry Z10 runs on a dual-core processor clocked to 1.5GHz , 2GB of RAM, while Samsung Galaxy S3 is powered by Samsung’s own quad core Exynos 1.4GHz Cortex A9 processor for international version, Snapdragon S4 dual core at 1.5GHz for the US version.

Camera:  Blackberry Z10 is equipped with a rear-facing 8 megapixel shooter capable of 1080p video, and a front-facing 2 megapixel camera which can do 720p video capture. The camera doesn't take shots as crisp as the ones you'll get from the Galaxy s3, but have a new "wow" features called Time Shift. The Galaxy S3 has an 8-megapixel camera on back and a front camera at 1.9 megapixels.
Time Shift
Storage and cloud:  BlackBerry Z10 has a 16GB of internal storage plus a microSD slot of up to 32 GB, while the Galaxy S3 comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB versions and support for SD card up to 64GB. Samsung owns a big advantage in this aspect. BB10 has no built-in cloud system for syncing or storing photos or other data like Android or Apple devices, but says it plans to work on its own system over time.

Operating System:  Running on the new BlackBerry 10 operating system, Performance on the Z10 was generally snappy and responsive and all about the new version of BlackBerry's software is swiping and tapping your fingers on the big screen. Compared to Android, it also offers additional features like BlackBerry Flow, BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Keyboard and Camera with Time Shift mode.

Apps:  The Z10 with BlackBerry 10 comes with many of the standard preloaded apps you'd expect -- photos, video, BlackBerry's BBM app (which now supports voice and video calls), important social media apps like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Foursquare, and a new BlackBerry's own Maps app, not as good as Google Maps, somewhat made us disappointed.
Blackberry Apps
Android and iOS are fully mature platforms now, with hundreds of thousands of apps, RIM's 80,000 or so are simply insufficient to offer a viable alternative. But it's really not about the raw numbers; it's about getting support for key developers, and offering customers a variety of useful and entertaining experiences. So BlackBerry has a long way to have the apps that have become as popular on the iPhone and Android phones, or just as Windows phone.

Battery:  In consideration of the battery power, Samsung Galaxy S3 has a more powerful 2100mAh battery while Blackberry has only provided a disappointed 1,800 mAh battery in the device. Galaxy S3's battery is able to hold up to 12 hours of talk time that vary on the networks available, while Z10 support Talk time up to 10 hours on 3G, Up to 60 hours of audio playback and 11 hours of video playback. Lucky, Users can replace the battery with a spare like the Galaxy s3.

Price:  The detailed price of Z10 is not yet known. Verizon Wireless says it will sell it for $200 with a two-year service agreement. Unlocked version will be sold for $599. The price of Galaxy s3 sometimes as low as $99 for basic model, though carriers typically charge $199 with two-year contract.

Release Date:  Samsung galaxy s3 is now available worldwide, including U.S. in June 2012 and Europe in May 2012. BlackBerry Z10 will hit the shelves In U.S. in March. Varies elsewhere, including U.K. on Thursday, Canada on Feb. 5 and Latin America by end of March.

Bottom Line:  There is no doubt that the Z10 is a fully modern BlackBerry. It is fast than before, has a mobile browser that beats many of the others and an outstanding keyboard; most important it runs a brand new operating system. The new software does offer something different than the others, but overall it (the maps and other features like voice control) and its app store lack the robustness of Apple's, Google's and even Microsoft's offerings. So which do you prefer, it depends on you.

Sony Xperia Z vs. Samsung Galaxy S3, Is Samsung Sweating?

Posted by Unknown Minggu, 13 Januari 2013 0 komentar
Sony, the electronic giant mobile company from Japanese, just announced its new android flagship quad-core smartphone at CES this year, the Xperia Z. Coming with a 5-inch 1080p screen, and other powerful specs, it declares that Sony will be hoping this new Android handset can deliver the scalps of high-end rival devices such as Apple’s iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S3, the world's bestselling smartphone in 2012 and owns a lot of new features.

Has Sony finally crafted a flagship able to go toe-to-toe with the competition of 2012's best? Will Sony Xperia Z successfully defeat Samsung Galaxy S III to be the leader of Android in 2013? Let’s have a look.

Size
Samsung galaxy s3 have a 4.8inch screen, while Xperia Z has a 5inch screen.  The Xperia Z is slightly longer, but roughly the same width. Sony's handset is also notably thinner than the Galaxy s3.

Weight
Due to the Xperia Z has a full pane of glass on both the front and the back, The Xperia Z is slightly heavier than S3, with a weight of 146g. The Galaxy S III's back is plastic, so it only have a weight of 133g.

Display
If you want to enjoy HD videos on your phone, obviously, The Xperia Z is your better choice, which has a 1080p Reality Display with a solution of 1920x1280, 443 pixels per inch (ppi). At the same time, Samsung Galaxy S III only has a solution of 1280×720, 306ppi.

Processor
Sony Xperia Z runs on the 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 Pro quad core processor, while Samsung Galaxy S III gets two different versions: a globally 1.4GHz Samsung’s own Exynos Quad core processor and a 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 dual core processor for US exclusively. For most customers, their performance will be more than adequate.

RAM
Xperia Z features 2GB RAM. The galaxy s3 also gets two different models, 2GB RAM for the North American, 1GB RAM for the international market.

Storage
For Storage, The Xperia Z only comes in one 16 GB version while Samsung galaxy s3 offers its flagship in three different storage options. Although both of the phone supports expand the memories even further with an SD slot, I should say Samsung really win in this aspect.

Network connectivity

Both two devices are supporting 4G LTE network connectivity and HSPA+.

Camera
Both of the two smartphones get super cameras. The Xperia Z gets a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front camera, while the Galaxy S III has an 8MP rear camera and a 1.9MP front camera. Besides, Xperia Z supports HDR shooting. Sony does a good job.

Battery
On paper, the Xperia Z has a battery of 2,330 mAh, slightly higher than Galaxy S III, which have a battery of 2100mAh. But many factors determine battery life, and the Xperia Z powers a display with over two million pixels.

The good news for the Xperia Z is that Sony has developed software called Battery STAMINA mode, which improves standby time by at least 4 times.

Intangibles
Xperia Z waterproof
The Xperia Z is waterproof and dust proof, so your phone is in safe if the phone unfortunate drop into a bathtub or toilet.

The Xperia Z runs Android 4.1 Jellybean, which is a slight disappointment since Android 4.2 is out in the wild. But Sony assures me it intends for the Xperia Z to get upgrades to 4.2 and the next iteration of Android (codenamed Key Lime Pie). Now Samsung have pulled out its 4.1.2 jelly bean update for the galaxy s3.

So which wins?
The Xperia Z actually looks good, and the device is set to arrive by the end of Q1. But Can the smartphone sell as well as the Samsung device? The answer we will reveal in the future. But the mobile phone industry is developing rapidly, rumors now also say that Samsung galaxy s4 might be released this May. Anyway, let us wait to see.

What will introduce after Samsung launched Galaxy S3

Posted by Unknown Senin, 20 Agustus 2012 0 komentar
Summary:  Samsung Galaxy S III is undoubtedly the most dazzling Android mobile in this year, but Samsung absolutely not satisfied with the status quo, now Let’s take a look what products Samsung going to launch in the future.

1.Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G headed to MetroPCS

Though the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G is a far cry from the high-end devices that are currently available in the market today, the handset still has quite a number of tricks up its sleeves that might want you to seriously consider jumping ship to MetroPCS. The carrier already confirmed that the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G will be offered at $459 off-contract and will give its users access to live television streaming. With the Dyle application preinstalled on the handset, users of the Samsung Galaxy S Lightray 4G can stream television using the 4G network of the carrier even while on the go.

2.Galaxy Discover for TracFone.

The ultra-budget prepaid carrier doesn't currently offer any branded smartphones, so the Galaxy Discover could end up being its first. It's slated to get Android 4.0, Bluetooth 3.0, "ample" internal storage, and external expansion up to 32GB. This one looks a bit like an original Galaxy S, too, but features three capacitive buttons along the bottom instead of the classic four.

3.Galaxy Stellar for Verizon.

This is the phone that leaked last month as the "Jasper,” a Droid Charge successor that keeps the original's unusual pointy chin. It's tapped to get a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 2,100mAh battery, Android 4.0, and — of course — LTE.

4.Galaxy Stratosphere 2 for Verizon.

Samsung doesn't seem to have any intention of pushing QWERTY sliders globally, but American carriers are clearly still asking for them — and that's where the Stratosphere 2 comes into play. The follow-on to last year’s Stratosphere, this new model features global GSM roaming capability, SAFE approval to make IT departments happy, S Beam, and S Voice.

5.Galaxy Victory 4G LTE for Sprint.

Leaked several weeks ago under model number SPH-L300, the unwieldy name underpins a phone that will likely slot in underneath the Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S III in Sprint's portfolio: Android 4.0, LTE support, NFC, a 5-megapixel camera, and WVGA display are all rumored to be on tap.

Now Windows Phone 8 is getting closer to its release date. Rumors have leaked that Samsung will release its series phone, include Samsung GT-I8370 Omnia(Marco)and Samsung GT-I8750 Omnia(Odyssey)”。

It remains to see what phone Samsung will bring to us.

Samsung galaxy s3 review

Posted by Unknown Senin, 13 Agustus 2012 0 komentar
With the developing of the mobile Internet, Smart phones have become the most important mobile Internet access terminals. Users put forward higher requirements for all aspects of the smartphone. Samsung launched GALAXY S3 quad-core mobile phone earlier this summer which is a high-end hardware spec smartphone, and it's an impressive device with over 10 million units sold already. Rumors also say Samsung seems to be lining up a black version of the popular Galaxy S3 smartphone.

The screen of Samsung GALALXY S3 is the largest one of the highlights. In addition to 4.8 inches large screen size, the resolution is also reached to the highest standards in the current mobile phone - Standard HD specification, 1280x720 pixels, which means that if we watch 720p HD movies on the Samsung GALAXY S3, it can "point to point play. In addition, the Samsung S3 fuselage used the second-generation gorilla glass of Corning. Compared to the first generation, the wear resistance and strength raising a lot, but also thinner, more robust ability resistant to scratches.

The AMOLED display gives the S3 a longer lasting battery compared to, say, the HTC One X and it’s better looking but more power hungry Super LCD 2. All things considered, Samsung really knocked the display out of the park with this device. The screen looks absolutely beautiful without sucking the battery dry. Super AMOLED is also equipped with mDNIe (mobile Digital Natural Image engine) technology which let Mobile phone make respond to quickly.

Samsung GALALXY S3 uses Samsung's own quad-core 1.5 GHz Snapdragon S4 Processor, you can operate more tasks instantly, there is also a substantial increase in its processing speed and energy saving compared to the dual-core. And enhanced graphics capabilities allow you to experience the silky smooth picture display. Compared to the Galaxy S2, S3 performance improves. The boot time become shorter, and the speed of application launch and web browsing has improved.

With a powerful quad-core performance in the Samsung GALALXY S3, the PIP function (Pop Up Play) can watch the video, while checking the mail, browse the Web or send text messages, but also allows video playback and custom sizes suspended in a variety of interface.

Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean update coming soon, Galaxy S2 Android 4.1 tests also on the way

Posted by Unknown Minggu, 22 Juli 2012 0 komentar

The hottest Android handset available in stores right now is the Galaxy S3, but Samsung’s flagship handset is not running Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. The Galaxy S3 was released in late May, a month ahead of the Google I/O event where Jelly Bean was first unveiled, with the OS running only on the Nexus 7 initially.

Google said that Nexus-branded smartphones (Nexus Galaxy and Nexus S) but also the Motorola Xoom tablet, will be the first ones to get Jelly Bean support, but in the mean time we’ve seen plenty of Android 4.1 ports for a variety of devices. Not to mention that the first CyanogenMod 10 preview builds have started to appear, and the Galaxy S3 is supported.

Today we hear that Samsung is already testing Android 4.1 for the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2, but we have no release dates for you at this time.

According to an insider that spoke to Sam Mobile “Samsung is almost ready to update” the Galaxy S3 to Jelly Bean, and by almost ready the publication means August or September. We have already wondered how fast the Jelly Bean update for the Galaxy S3 update would arrive a few weeks ago. At the time we read a report that suggested Samsung engineers took extra measures to make sure the device will offer a great Jelly Bean experience, but Samsung has kept quiet on its Android 4.1 upgrade plans.
Moreover, Samsung is also testing Android 4.1 on the Galaxy S2, which is pretty much what we would expect from the company. However, that doesn’t mean we’ll see a timely Jelly Bean release for the Galaxy S2 varieties out there – and we don’t even dare ask about the Galaxy S Jelly Bean build yet.

However, the same blog says “Samsung will update the Galaxy S II if the porting to Android 4.1 on the Galaxy S II goes well.” The Galaxy S2 is already successfully running Ice Cream Sandwich so it should have no problem getting Jelly Bean as well.

We’ll be back with rollout dates for various markets for both the Galaxy S3 and Galaxy S2 in the following weeks and months, so keep us bookmarked!

Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean and Verizon’s Samsung Developer phone

Posted by Unknown Selasa, 17 Juli 2012 0 komentar

JULY 17, 2012, 11:39 A.M. New York local time — Samsung’s Verizon Galaxy S3 model for developer gets its own landing page, while Android Jelly Bean ported to the Samsung Galaxy S3 courtesy of CyanogenMod.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 is the most popular Android smartphone right now according to analysts, and unsurprisingly, it is also the favorite of developers thanks to its quad-core Exynos 4 system on a chip.

Ahead of the widely anticipated Android Jelly Bean update for the popular Android-based device, CyanogenMod himself has unleashed the JB preview build for the Samsung Galaxy S3 with the CyanogenMOD 10 code. As reported by Mobile Syrup, it is an “early build” so expect to see some weird things in your phone. Also, be sure to read the instructions at the XDA site to avoid bricking (or destroying) your “designed for rich humans” phone.

If you’re not an “advanced” user, well, you may need to wait until the end of this year or early next year for the official Android Jelly Bean update of the Samsung Galaxy S3. According to Samsung, it will “soon announce which additional devices are eligible for the Jelly Bean update,” apparently, with no mention of the Samsung Galaxy S3.

Speaking of developers, Samsung’s official website finally unveils the Samsung Galaxy S3 Verizon model with the unlocked bootloader. The new page confirms that the device will ship with 32GB on-board storage.

Reports say Samsung will start shipping the Verizon Wireless-compatible smartphone before the end of this month sporting the tag price of $599 to $649.99, and of course, the price may change. We’ll update this post if Samsung will issue a statement related to the new Verizon S3 for devs variant.
